100 percent pure water foundation is fruit pigmented promise to plump your skin, calm, and hydrates it while offering full coverage with a dewy finish.
It’s been a hot minute since I got anything from 100 Percent Pure. I always open the emails too late or just watching my budget. When I saw they had a new foundation, I knew I wanted to try it. Mostly because I was out of every single foundation and concealer and also I wanted to try something new.
100 percent pure got me at water-based. It has always been my favorite formula.
What’s in it?
While you can access the full ingredients on the 100 percent pure website, some ingredients definitely are worth mentioning.
The main ingredients in the 100 Percent Pure Water Foundation are:
Acai berry is packed with antioxidants, grape fights the sign of aging due to Reservatol, Green tea protects, and aloe heals and helps the skin recover.
While the 100 Percent Pure Water Foundation ($41.00) is targeted toward dry skin, I find it works quite well for my oily combination skin. I apply a mattifying primer ( $48.00) before using it. The results are just magnificent! It leaves a nice glowing skin-like finish. It feels very light on the skin and doesn’t crease as the day goes on. I also found that setting it with the bamboo blur powder ($40.00) just prolonge its wear.
If you are in the market for gluten-free, vegan, natural, cruelty-free foundation, and have dry skin, the 100 percent pure water foundation might be the one for you!
As for the price, well, it’s in the normal range for a non-toxic foundation. Those don’t come for cheap sadly.
However, if you are not sure about it, I think I saw they had sample packs available on the website for the second skin foundation, hopefully, samples for the 100 Percent Pure Water Foundation will be available shortly.
As for the shades, this particular formula is darker than the second skin foundation. This comes as no surprise as none of the 100 percent pure foundations are consistent in colors. But I am not the one complaining because for once a foundation matches my complexion without me adding anything to it or use two shades to get it right.
Have you gotten your hands on this new foundation yet? What are your impressions?
