Banana Oats Shake

Banana oats shake is one my go to post work out snacks. I usually crave for something cold after an intense session no matter what the season is. It’s also a quick way to get something nutritious before temptation strikes!

The ingredients are quite simple; you can switch things by adding or substituting ingredients.

In the summer time I love adding some papaya chunks; matcha powder is also a great addition.

I also love making it with nutmeg for an eggnog flavor. Yum!

Why is it so good?

It’s delicious with mejool dates.

Medjool dates

Dates are loaded with minerals like magnesium,copper potassium ( great for muscle cramps), and zinc.  They also have soluble and insoluble fibers which are great for digestive health and aid with weight management.

  • 2 medium ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cup of oats
  • 1 cup of non diary milk
  • 4 dates pitted and chopped
  • 1 cup of crushed ice
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon


  • Put everything in the blender, wet ingredient first. blend until smooth and creamy.


Add matcha green tea, vegan protein powder, carobs powder, cayenne pepper,nutmeg to make things more interesting.

Bananas need no introduction.Oats, well… I am obsess with them. I just eat them for sport!Gluten Free oats
